Our Advisor Selection Committee will review your application and respond to your email address supplied above as soon as possible. In some instances we may contact you by email for further information or clarification. Applications with references, impressive credits and awards, and greater experience will carry greater weight.
Upon acceptance of your application we will supply you with our Advisors and Mentors Guide which details expectations, techniques, administration, and payment procedures. At that time if you wish to be listed on our website as an Advisor, which includes reciprocal links between augustwords.org and your website, you will be contacted to provide a bio of 100 words or less and a square photo in jpeg format. If you like, you can also provide a link to a YouTube video (shorter is better, ie: under 3 minutes), showing you teaching, reading your work, or a trailer for your latest book. We can use it to feature you as a new Advisor.
Please Note: We believe professionals should be compensated for their time, experience, and expertise, therefore all of our Advisors are compensated generously and appropriately. Also, for the Mentor Connection and the Speaker Connection, if you wish to set compensation for your services higher by setting a list price higher than our minimums, you may.
